Carol Hamblet Adams has been a motivational speaker since 1993. She is a member of the National Speakers Association and in 1995 was recognized by the New England Speakers Association as their Member of the Year. Carol’s career has included work in television and on the musical comedy stage. At age 50, she became a world and nationally ranked U.S. Masters competitive swimmer. Carol is a singer/songwriter, who enjoys acting in commercials and playing her ukulele. She is involved in prison ministry and in bereavement work. Carol is a writer, whose deep love for the beach and the ocean have served as an inspiration for her speaking and her writing. Carol is the author of five books, her most popular one, being “My Beautiful Broken Shell: Words of Hope to Refresh the Soul”. Carol lives on Cape Cod and was blessed to be married for thirty-seven years to Steve, before he lost his battle to cancer in 2007. Carol has two sons, Todd and Kevin Adams, and one daughter, Kristin Adams Litke. She is also the proud grandmother of five grandsons and one granddaughter.
